Marwell Hotel, which is set within the beautiful wooded countryside of Hampshire, is the proud home to The Dining Room - a restaurant with a menu so exquisite it has earned two AA rosettes.

Executive chef Phil Yeomans brings years of experience of working in kitchens around the world to The Dining Room, yet modestly describes his cooking style as 'English with a modern twist'. The flavours of Phil's dishes are pure, with main ingredients allowed to speak for themselves; textures and temperatures are well judged, too, whilst the final presentation is clean and delicate.

Ingredients are sourced locally, wherever possible, and Phil and his team are proud to utilise the wealth of passion and knowledge of local suppliers. His menus are thoughtfully created to meet guests' requirements and exceed their expectations. You might begin with the tender pigeon served with radicchio, turnip and stem broccoli, followed by succulent pork belly with wild garlic, apple and bacon. Finish with a refreshing coconut parfait alongside poached rhubarb, white chocolate and blood orange.

The lounge and bar menu, meanwhile, presents perfectly executed traditional favourites that can be enjoyed in a more relaxed environment. Guests can also book to enjoy afternoon tea, which is available daily. No matter where in the hotel you choose to relax, the front of house team will pride themselves on providing unobtrusive, attentive service to make guests feel relaxed and at ease
